Who we are
This service is operated by aiscorecard.com.au. It provides a free AI readiness self-assessment tool for Australian small and medium businesses.
What data we collect
When you complete the scorecard, we collect:
- Your name, email address, and company name
- Phone number (if provided)
- Your role or title (if provided)
- Your biggest business challenge (if provided)
- What you hope AI can help with (if provided)
- Your quiz answers (15 questions)
- Your IP address and browser user agent
How we use your data
Your data is used to:
- Calculate your AI readiness score and generate personalised insights
- Send you a PDF copy of your results by email
- Enrich your company profile to provide more relevant recommendations
Third-party data processors
We share limited data with the following services to deliver your results:
- Anthropic (Claude API) -- your quiz answers and company name are sent to generate AI-powered insights. Claude may also perform web searches about your company to improve recommendations.
- People Data Labs -- your company name is used to look up publicly available company information (size, industry, revenue) to tailor your results.
- Resend -- your email address is used to deliver your PDF report.
- Cloudflare -- provides DNS and CDN services. Your requests pass through Cloudflare infrastructure.
Data storage
Your data is stored in a database on an Australian-hosted virtual private server. PDF reports are generated and stored server-side.
Data retention
Your data is retained indefinitely unless you request deletion. We do not currently have automated data expiry.
Cookies and local storage
This site does not use cookies. Your quiz progress is temporarily stored in your browser's localStorage to prevent data loss during the assessment. This data is cleared when you submit the quiz.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your data
